On Friday the workers put in our pervious upper driveway. We had planned to document the process with pictures, but we were in Alabama and were not able to do so. Here's the finished product... In three weeks we can drive and park on this grass and it won't hurt it to do so due to the system beneath it. At least that's what we're promised. I hope it works. We'll let you know!

Even though renovations continue, Phil and I are excited to dress Two Holt for Christmas. Luke and his family visited during Thanksgiving break and Luke helped his grandfather hang garland outside Two Holt. Our Autumn window box was changed out for a winter display. We've been busy decorating inside, too. Phil hung our JOY letters in the living room. And here's a panoramic view of the area. The kitchen area has a Christmas Baking theme. I love how the kitchen, dining room, and living room are open to each other. Moving into the living room area... Now let me show you our master bedroom. Our snowman tree lights up the sitting area in our bedroom. A Christmas wreath hangs on our headboard and red poinsettias are on each nightstand. Upstairs in the guest area, pretty little red berry wreaths hang on each door. The fall leaves woven on the guest headboard have been replaced by this snowy pine garland. The War Eagle pillow has been removed from the rocker for Christmas decorations to be added. The nightstand holds a nativity globe, a Let It Snow sign, and a snowman countdown until Christmas. Moving into our second guest bedroom... A Christmas sign in the bedroom wall The top of Phil's grandparent's vanity decorated with an angel and REJOICE sign. Jingle bells in a Christmas tree jar. This Christmas bear container holds personal hygiene items for overnight guests in the guest bathroom. Merry Christmas from Phil and me at Two Holt!
