This has been a year of transplanting plants from our Alabama home to Two Holt. Our sitting garden is almost filled to capacity, but we squeezed in a few more stargazer lilies, daylilies, and a couple of Stokes' asters. The Birdbath Garden still looks a little sparse in the middle and front areas. We planted a tray or two of our impatiens which we purchased from our elementary school's greenhouse along the front. We transplanted more daylilies and stargazer lilies in the middle section in front of the summersweet shrubs. Hopefully these will fill in nicely and we'll only have a spot or two left to plant. The remainder of the pictures are to document the size of the garden in this fourth year. It's always nice to compare to the first year and see the progress we've made. And here are a few other pictures of our Year 4 garden: We haven't been able to spend much time at Two Holt this summer due to complications from Phil's treatment, but I hope there has been enough rain to keep the plants going. Each week I hope it will bring the weekend we can visit our beloved Two Holt. Who knows...maybe this weekend?
