Look at the cool stuff Santa brought for Two Holt! Santa knows how special Two Holt is and he brought the sign below to show it! We plan to hang this sign over the screen porch french doors. Jolly ol' Saint Nick knew these Moroccan inspired tea lights would add a special touch hanging in the corner inside our screen porch. The longest lantern is 2 feet long. This outdoor rug will define our seating area inside the screen porch. These are the most realistic battery operated candles I have ever seen. Phil has wanted these candles since he first saw them at our favorite little shop in Highlands, Dutchman Designs. Thank you, Santa! We can't wait for our next trip to Two Holt!

We're sharing the latest contender for our future addition. The picture below shows the exterior of the addition. There are a couple of changes to the exterior I would make. I'd rather have french doors only leading out to the top balcony and I'd rather have french doors flanked by windows leading out to the bottom deck. The floorplan below is the architect's first floor for this plan, BUT if you scroll down you will see a re-worked plan Phil and I designed to give us the master bedroom with sitting area, master bath, and laundry room we want on the first floor. The master bath plan below (hand drawn by Phil) features a soaker tub housed in a bay window, twin vanities, and a shower which will have a bench built in. From the bathroom we can access the laundry room and walk-in master closet. The stairs leading upstairs could be closed off for master bedroom privacy. Two windows will flank the french doors which lead onto a deck. Walking into the bedroom from the french doors and immediately to the left is a sitting area. A gas fireplace in the front wall corner of the sitting area will be nice. Two Holt's current two little bedrooms will be converted to become a home office/library and an extension of the dining area. Edited to add ideas we want: The top level floor plan is shown below. This would probably stay as designed. I love the bedroom sizes and the storage accesses are so very much appreciated! I do wish it had a full bath instead of a 1/2 bath, but we can live with it. I might have to look at the windows in br2 because of furniture placement, but I'm sure it's workable. Total square footage of this addition would be 1073 square feet...672 square feet on the first level and 401 square feet on the second level.
